I think you’re improved off taking your initial level in Fighter, or another, than Artificer. It’s a difference between a lot more HP plus much more skills, but I don’t Imagine you’re intending to use loads of skills beyond Craft and Use Magic Machine. But I’d almost certainly fairly one thing better than Fighter...For those who insist on
